Legal Services

HIAS partners with KIND (Kids in Need of Defense) to provide legal support for children, including mentorship and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) trainings for attorneys. While HIAS does not directly represent children, they offer ongoing legal strategy assistance to attorneys handling cases involving children, asylum seekers, and forcibly separated families.

Counties served: Bronx, Dutchess, Kings (Brooklyn), Nassau, NY (Manhattan), Orange, Putnam, Queens, Richmond (Staten Island), Rockland, Suffolk, Ulster, Westchester
